Centurion Tours is a black-owned and operated business providing full fledged tour services. The company has grown from a single operational vehicle in 1999 to a well co-ordinated business employing more than 40 people and operating a comprehensive fleet of vehicles.

Hands-on Management
The owner, Ikraam Bulbulia, is passionate about people and leads by example because he knows that good service starts at the top. The customer's comfort and convenience take priority and, if necessary, he will step in as a driver to ensure that the customer reaches their final destination. Although the company's growth has led to additional managers being employed to deal with day-to-day issues, Ikraam still remains very involved on the ground and is available 24/7.

At Centurion Tours, we invest in our people because when we develop and grow our staff, we know that we are in fact benefitting not only our company but also our communities. Our managers have risen through the ranks, often starting as drivers and so know the business inside out.

Trained and motivated staff
At Centurion Tours, we believe that our people are the reason for our success. All our drivers have Code 8 and PDP licences and undergo a 7-day induction process. They are trained in advanced driving skills, meeting and greeting clients (PR skills), how to talk to clients, vehicle maintenance, safety and security, first aid and how to use the map-book.

Safety comes first
Our logistics centre at Cape Town International Airport is able to track the position of every vehicle "live" on the computer screens.
  • Drivers contact the operations centre by radio or by cell phone when they leave the depot and when they pick up and drop off clients.
  • All our vehicles are fully licensed, fitted with satellite tracking devices (Skytrax and Tracker) and titanium anti-smash glass, and portable GPS systems are available.
  • We carry a passenger liability cover which ranges from a minimum of R15 million (15 Million ZAR)
