Our vehicle fleet reflects the demand of the market we serve. Whether you are looking for swift efficiency or full-house VIP treatment, Centurion Tours will find you the most suitable vehicle from our range of Quantum, Lexus, SUV and Corolla vehicles.
Vehicles are checked at each shift changeover, in the morning, afternoon and at the end of the day. A mechanic and assistant mechanic are on stand by at the depot to ensure that vehicles are in tip-top condition and ready to go with a minimum of delay.
Operating Permits
All our vehicles are fully licensed by all the necessary authorities to transport local and international tourists, as well as staff within the Cape Metropole area up to Stellenbosch. Our vehicles proudly carry their permits as an indication of our continual striving to comply with the standards set by the authorities within the tourism industry.
Safety and Security
The safety and security of our guests while in our care is of utmost importance to us. We make every effort to stay abreast of the latest available technology to assist us in protecting our guests. Therefore, our vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking devices (Skytrax and Tracker) and titanium anti-smash glass. Portable GPS systems are available if required that enable the driver to navigate the best possible route to the guest's destination if an alternative route becomes necessary Vehicles are serviced at regular intervals to ensure optimum operating capability, reducing risk of exposure to danger at roadsides.
eFuel
eFuel is a card-free, cashless system using technology to pre-authorise and conclude a refueling transaction. The system means that the vehicle authorises the refuelling, not the driver, which prevents intentional manipulation and accidental human error. And, at any given time if a vehicle is short on fuel, it can be refuelled at any petrol station, thereby minimising any delay or inconvenience to our clients.
Passenger Liability Cover
The industry standard is R5 million passenger liability cover and ACSA's inner lane requirement is a cover of R10 million. Centurion Tours provide R30 million cover per Quantum and R15 million cover on the Lexus. This means that clients can travel with us in peace of mind, knowing that any untoward eventualities are well taken care of.
